This AUP is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Breaching it is a breach of the Terms and can lead to suspension or termination.
1. Purpose
This policy sets the rules for using ZevoBot and deploying Chatbots. It protects End-Users, our platform, our subprocessors, and our standing with partners such as Meta/WhatsApp, Google, Shopify, and our AI providers. It applies to every Customer, user, chatbot, integration, and piece of content on the Service.
2. You must not use ZevoBot to
2.1 Illegal or harmful activity
- Violate any law or regulation, or facilitate anything illegal.
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights (see §4 and the IP & Copyright Policy).
- Deploy chatbots that provide instructions for weapons, illegal drugs, self-harm, or other seriously harmful activity.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
2.2 Harmful, abusive, or deceptive content
- Generate or distribute content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or that incites violence.
- Create sexual content involving minors, or any child-sexual-abuse material — zero tolerance; reported to authorities.
- Operate scams, phishing, fraud, fake-support, or deceptive “AI pretending to be a licensed professional” experiences.
- Provide regulated advice (medical, legal, financial) via a bot without appropriate disclaimers and lawful authorisation.
2.3 Security and platform abuse
- Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service, other tenants, or our subprocessors.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its APIs beyond your plan limits or rate limits.
- Introduce malware, or use the Service to attack third parties.
- Circumvent usage limits, billing, plan gating, or authentication.
- Attempt prompt-injection or jailbreaks intended to make AI providers produce disallowed content, or to exfiltrate other tenants' data.
2.4 Data and privacy misuse
- Collect personal data from End-Users without a lawful basis, notice, and any required consent.
- Configure chatbots to collect sensitive/special-category data (health, biometrics, financial account credentials, government IDs) without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
- Collect data from children under 18.
- Use another person's data you have no right to process.
3. Messaging, WhatsApp, and marketing rules
Because ZevoBot sends WhatsApp messages and broadcasts on your behalf, you must:
- Comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, Meta's Commerce/Business policies, and template-approval rules.
- Only message users who have opted in. Maintain proof of opt-in. Honour opt-outs/unsubscribes immediately (the platform records opt-in/out; you must not defeat it).
- Not send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or content to purchased/scraped lists.
- Comply with anti-spam, DND, and telemarketing laws applicable to your recipients (e.g., India TRAI/DND regulations, and equivalent laws elsewhere).
- Use broadcasts only for permitted, opt-in audiences and within rate limits. When you upload your own list (CSV), you must confirm in-product that every number has opted in — this attestation is required to send and is stored with the campaign for audit.
Violations here can get your WhatsApp number and our platform penalised by Meta; we enforce this strictly.
4. Training data and knowledge-base rules
When you upload documents or ask ZevoBot to crawl a website to train a chatbot, you represent that:
- You own the content or have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use it, including to create text extracts and vector embeddings.
- You will only crawl websites you own or are authorised to crawl, and you will respect
robots.txtand site terms. - The content does not infringe third-party IP or privacy rights and is not illegal or prohibited under §2.
- You will not upload malware or content designed to manipulate the AI into unsafe behaviour.
We may remove training content and disable sources that violate this section (see IP & Copyright Policy for takedowns).
5. Fair use and resource limits
Your use must stay within your plan's stated limits (chatbots, messages, training pages, leads) and any technical rate limits. We may throttle, queue, soft-gate, or require an upgrade for excessive or abusive consumption, or usage that degrades the Service for others.
6. Integrations
When you connect Google Calendar, Shopify, WooCommerce, or WhatsApp, you must use only the access you are authorised to grant, comply with each provider's terms, and not use connected data beyond the purpose the End-User/merchant authorised.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion and proportionate to the issue: warn you, remove or disable offending content/sources/chatbots, rate-limit, suspend or terminate your account, and report unlawful activity to authorities and affected parties. For serious or repeated violations, or anything endangering people or our platform standing, we may act immediately and without prior notice. No refunds are due for terminations under this policy (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).
8. Reporting abuse
To report a chatbot or account that violates this AUP, email akulapalkish01@gmail.com with details and links/identifiers. We review reports promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP as laws, partner policies, and abuse patterns evolve. The “Effective date” reflects the latest version; continued use is acceptance.
